Manchester United game on the move, but to when?

AFC Bournemouth’s trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United will no longer kick off at 3 pm on Saturday 11th April.

But when exactly it will kick off isn’t clear either.

BT Sport have selected the match for live broadcast, giving presenter Jake Humphrey another chance to incorrectly call AFC Bournemouth owner Maxim Demin a “Russian billionaire” and dismiss AFC Bournemouth’s rise from near oblivion in non-league football to the Premier League in just six years as “not a fairytale”.

The self-confessed Norwich City supporter and former children’s television presenter hasn’t shown the greatest depth of knowledge in regards to football at Dean Court.

But he might gain another 24 hours to do some homework ahead of this fixture.

The game is currently scheduled for 12.30 pm on Saturday 11th April, but due to Manchester United’s potential participation in UEFA’s second-tier European competition the UEFA Europa League, the game could be bounced to the Sunday. Plenty of time for Jake to finally get his facts straight.

Usually love going to Old Trafford but not sure I can be fussed this time. The early kick off’s and coach times a pain. Looking forward to squeezing in the half-day Beatles tour before the Liverpool game given the 3.30am departure. – Join the conversation, click here.
