AFC Bournemouth have announced their plans for their 2024 summer training camp.

The Cherries will be returning to the United States of America for the first time since 2016.

AFC Bournemouth will fly over to California on Monday 15th July and will be based at Dignity Health Sports Park, which is the training ground complex of Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy.

The Cherries squad will also visit AFC Bournemouth owner Bill Foley’s Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara.

On Saturday 20th July, AFC Bournemouth will play newly promoted League One outfit Wrexham at Harder Stadium at the UC Santa Barbara campus.

Tickets are already available on the following link.

The two clubs haven’t met since 2005, with the Cherries winning the last five meetings between the two clubs.

One of those meetings included the record breaking hat-trick by James Hayter.

Hayter took just 140 seconds to net three times, setting a new Football League record for the fastest ever hat-trick in the 6-0 victory.

AFC Bournemouth Chief Executive Neill Blake told afcb.co.uk

“We are delighted to announce this game as we confirm our summer tour plans,”

“We’re extremely excited to be bringing our team to America, and look forward to this being our opening match. It will provide a good first test for us as we look to continue building on our successes in the Premier League.

“We can’t wait to see our stateside Cherries fans, and we look forward to introducing ourselves to many more while in California.”
