Iron’s boss believes we will stay up

Scunthorpe United Manager Brian Laws believes that Bournemouth have ‘…enough about them to stay up.’

Speaking to the Scunthorpe Telegraph Laws said…

‘I stated before the game that Bournemouth were a very good side and that they do like to play football, I’m sure they have enough about them to stay up.’

‘…They have players who are very comfortable on the ball and it’s a very attractive style, but they overplay sometimes and don’t hurt you enough.’

‘…We started okay, got the goal from a penalty decision which I thought looked a little bit harsh and I thought we would then take the game on, but they (Bournemouth) kept their shape and passed the ball well.’

‘They didn’t really do much to hurt us, but their midfield and back three got out a lot.’

‘We tightened up, went man-for-man and pushed three up front. That stopped them from getting out and it changed the game.’
