AFC Bournemouth have announced their 2017/18 Premier League squad numbers.
Many AFC Bournemouth supporters would have hoped that new signing Jermain Defoe would adopt his old number 27 from his previous loan stint at Dean Court.
However the England international has opted for his more traditional number 18.
This has seen England Under 20’s World Cup winner Lewis Cook take the number 16.

AFC Bournemouth record signing Nathan Ake has taken the number 5 shirt that he previously wore last season during his loan spell.
Connor Mahoney has taken 23, whilst Adam Federici has taken 32.
