AFC Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury has praised loanee Scott Malone for his recent performances.

The left back, on loan from Premier League side Wolverhampton, returned to the starting line up last week after an injury and was selected on the left wing in front of club captain Warren Cummings and Bradbury believes the pair have struck a good partnership down the left flank.

Malone scored his first goal for the club away at Preston and he quickly netted his second in the following game against Scunthorpe and Bradbury thinks that he is capable of scoring more goals from left wing.

Bradbury told the afcb.co.uk

‘I thought he was fantastic. Going forward he was a threat and he got back to help Warren Cummings out as well. He’s fitted in on the wing really well, and he’s scored two in two now. He is a threat and I wouldn’t like to mark him.

‘I’ve told Scott I want him to knock the ball past defenders and show his pace, because there’s not many quicker than him. He just needs a bit more belief and get to the back post more and get himself some more goals, if he had done that he might have got a couple more.

‘He’s 6’3, so there’s not many full backs that will be as big as him and he gives us an out ball aerially. If Wes Thomas is up against two big lads, then we can use Scott as well.’
