After having three games on the bounce at home against three teams in the bottom four, AFCB have taken 5 points out of a possible nine. The latest game was another disappointing Tuesday night performance against Reading, which finished 1-1. For their next game, the Cherries are on their travels again, this time up to Yorkshire and the home of Huddersfield Town on Saturday at 3 pm. Our last two visits to play Huddersfield Town were fruitful for the Cherries and they came back with six points.

Huddersfield Town are having a good season under their Spanish manager Carlos Corberan. This is his second season in charge, last season his side finished 20th on 49 points. The Terriers had gone 17 league games unbeaten since their last defeat at home against Middlesbrough in November. At home this season they have W 10, D 5, L 3. Away they have W 7, D 7, L 6. Their most recent game was away at Millwall which finished 2-0 to Millwall, which finished Huddersfield Town‘s unbeaten run and they are third in the table on 63 points.

The last time we played at their ground AFCB came away with 3 points after a 1-2 win. The Cherries were 0-2 up at half-time through goals from Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke. Jonathan Hogg scored a consolation goal for the home side.

In all our away games against Huddersfield Town, AFCB have W 8, D 10, L 8.
In all competitions, AFCB have W 19, D 19 L 18.

Huddersfield Town Team News
They have injuries to Ryan Schofield, Rolando Aarons and Alex Vallejo.

Huddersfield Town Player To Watch
Up front Danny Ward is in fine form for them this season scoring 13 goals. In midfield, Sorba Thomas has scored 3 goals and leads with 10 assists. Lewis O’Brien is another player to watch.

AFCB Team News
Both Philip Billing and Adam Smith will be available again after serving their suspensions and wouldn’t be surprised if they both start after our side playing 3 games in a week, which seem to show, as some players not showing the form from last Saturday. Leif Davis’s injury is not serious according to Scott Parker, but no mention if he could be back Saturday.

AFCB Player To Watch
Dominic Solanke in his last three games against the Terriers has scored 5 goals against them. Last season in the game at Dean Court he scored 2 goals (1 pen) and away scored 1. This season at home he scored another brace.

Man In Charge
The referee is Simon Hooper.
We had him for the home game against Blackburn Rovers in December.

Cook has had his best 3 game spell since he signed for us.

I used to get on his back, but he has shown a real improvement.

Just need that same level of performance gain from Kelly, Billing, Christie, Anthony and Zemura and we should be able to edge over the line.

Perhaps an improvement from Parker wouldn’t go amiss as well. – Join the conversation, click here.
