AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser will return ‘sooner rather than later’ according to Cherries assistant manager Jason Tindall.

The Scotland Under 21’s winger picked up an ankle injury in the 3-3 draw with Arsenal which forced him off midway through the second half with the game at that stage 3-0 to the Cherries.

It wasn’t clear how bad the injury was until a scan allayed fears that he could be out for several months.

Tindall told the Daily Echo

‘It’s not as serious as we first thought it would be. Hopefully, we should have him back soon.

‘He certainly won’t be out for months. It will be an injury which will be assessed on a daily basis and, hopefully, he will be back training sooner rather than later.’
