“I’ve said it time and time again – if his name is not on the team-sheet, people say ‘thank God he’s not playing’ so that’s a credit to him.”

“I would imagine if he’d wanted to leave, a number of clubs would have been interested in his services but I think he’s settled here and we’re pleased he’s signed another year.’
