Colchester friendly confirmed

AFC Bournemouth have today confirmed that the Cherries will host Colchester United in a friendly match to be played on 22nd July.

upthecherries.co.uk ran the story last week after the story had appeared on the Colchester United official website (Click here for original story).

Since the story broke, many fans have been unimpressed with the fixture. With one fan claiming he would rather ‘creosote the fence’.

upthecherries.co.uk believes this could be down to the recent prices of friendly games, with last season’s prices only being a fraction under full league game prices.
