AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola is set to add Inigo Perez and Pablo de la Torre to the backroom coaching staff at Dean Court.
Perez was Iraloa’s assistant at former club Rayo Vallecano, whilst de la Torre has a background in sports science and physiotherapy.
They will, according to Daily Echo reporter Tom Crocker, join Shaun Cooper, Tommy Elphick, Neil Moss and Gareth Stewart as part of the first-team coaches.
Cooper and Elphick worked as first-team coaches under both Scott Parker and Gary O’Neil, taking on a more prominent role under O’Neil following Parker’s departure.
Neil Moss recently returned to Dean Court following a spell in the England set-up and he joins Stewart as part of the goalkeeping coaches team.

Former AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Jimmy Glass recently left the Cherries to become General Manager at non-league side Wimborne Town and that role will now be filled by AFC Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher.
Fletch announced the move via social media calling it “an exciting new chapter of my life at AFC Bournemouth”.
Steve Fletcher has been part of the backroom team at AFC Bournemouth for the past decade following his decision to retire from professional football. He’s had spells as scout, coach and assistant manager down the years.
As a player, he made over 800 appearances for the club in all competitions across two spells and is the clubs all-time record appearance holder, a record unlikely to ever be beaten.
After 8 amazing seasons on the coaching staff
(6yrs in the Prem, Champ Playoffs & Promotion) which Iām truly honoured, I move to my new role as 1st team player liaison officer,
matchday host &
club ambassador.
An exciting new chapter of my life at @afcbournemouth

Good to see he is still part of the club staff, if in a different role.
One now ex-player that you can say is AFCB through and through and when he kissed the club badge he really meant it.

Best of luck Fletch : )
So glad he’s still at the club in some capacity. came here as a gangly teenager, hundreds of miles from home. He became Bournemouth through and through, then Bournemouth became him with THAT goal against Grimsby. Other people can have other opinions of him but to me, he’s part of AFCB and I’m always pleased to see him involved in the club, in any way : )

If anyone is looking beyond the fans for the true core of AFCB, to my mind it is Supa. A rock of ages to build upon. Loyalty and steel in equal measure. EH knew it. I truly admire the man’s dedication to the cause. – To join the conversation, click here.
