AFC Bournemouth management duo Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall reflected on the Cherries achievements on reaching the Premier League.
Howe and Tindall have been part of the greatest chapter in AFC Bournemouth’s history.
Both former players, they turned to coaching following the end of their playing days.
On New Years Eve 2008 they were thrown together to save the Cherries who were seven points adrift at the foot of the fourth tier of English football.
By the time they were given the job on a permanent basis the gap had grown to ten points, but Howe and Tindall pulled off the greatest escape to avoid non league football and potential oblivion.
Three promotions in five years later, including a 16 month transfer embargo and 21 months at Burnley has seen the Cherries rise from the foot of the fourth tier to first.

‘It’s incredible, Who would have thought it? A little old team like Bournemouth heading for the Premier League.
‘Going to places like The Emirates and Stamford Bridge – it’s incredible.
‘It’s an incredible achievement and I’m just so proud of everyone at the club.’
Howe told BBC Radio Solent…
‘This club was on its knees six years, we had nothing, A group of supporters put their money in their pockets to keep the club alive and they are reaping the rewards. It is the club I watched as kid, the club that gave me an opportunity in the game as a player and a manager. It shouldn’t be them thanking me, It should be me thanking them. It is a family club and deserves its moment in the sun.
‘It is never a journey we expected to go on but through some hard work and some investment we managed to do it. The players have been magnificent and an achievement they deserved.’
