Josh Gowling had a scare during the week however he has resumed training and is available for selection on Saturday. Gareth O’Connor is out as is Shaun Cooper, Marvin Bartley isn’t 100% fit with a groin injury.

The defender has impressed so far this season, lets hope he can keep the defence tight on Saturday.

Northampton are still to win on the road and so far haven’t shown that good form they had away from home last season.

Chris Doig is trying to get his fitness up for the the clash after joining in with training this week, however Danny Jackman has picked up a slight knock.

Player to watch: Andy Kirk

The forward has scored four times already this season, his last goal being against former Bournemouth managers side Doncaster Rovers on Friday night.
