AFC Bournemouth have already been linked with eight potential summer signings by the media.
Following reports that the Cherries were attempting to land John Terry and Jermain Defoe on free transfers, but with combined wages of £230,000 a week and go back to Chelsea in a bid to complete the signings of Asmir Begovic and Nathan Ake, the media have linked a further four players with moves to the south coast.
The Cherries are reportedly interested in Liverpool left back Joe Gomez and midfielder Ryan Kent according to The Sun.
The Daily Mail have linked the Cherries with Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer, whilst the Daily Mail have also linked Eddie Howe with a move for Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong.
19 year old Joe Gomez was previously linked with a January transfer window move to Dean Court in January, at that time it was reportedly a loan interest.
However the latest report states…
‘Howe wants to sign the defender for £10million with a sell-back option or take him on loan for the next campaign.’
20 year old Ryan Kent is a midfielder who has also obtained interest from Leeds United, but the same report added that Kent was keen ‘to sign a new deal at Liverpool and give it a go to make Jurgen Klopp`s squad.’
20 year old Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer is currently on loan with Huddersfield Town, who are currently pushing for promotion to the Premier League via the Championship Play-Offs.
He has scored 5 goals in 26 games during their promotion push and that form according to the report has seen AFC Bournemouth ‘weighing up a summer bid’.
23 year old Ghana international Frank Acheampong is reportedly a target for both AFC Bournemouth and Watford.
Acheampong joined Anderlecht for £820,000 from Thai League side Buriram United in 2013, since his move he has made 150 appearances, scoring 19 times.
He has won the Belgian Pro League and Belgian Super Cup.
