AFC Bournemouth have released their new home shirt for the upcoming 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
Like all kits, some will like it, some won’t and some won’t be sure, but this one will receive a big thumbs up from most with its classic design.
The Cherries leave the zigzags behind to return to the more traditional red and black stripes, with an added black pinstripe. It will prove to be many people’s favourite shirt for quite some time, so well done to Umbro.

The shirt was released with an inspiring video, voiced over by Kris Temple, featuring many of the current players from both the men’s and women’s teams, with a nod to the Greatest Escape season with Big Steve Fletcher also making an appearance.

The video also includes the clubs motto that became synonymous during the Eddie Howe era, but also included a mash-up with phrases coined by new AFC Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley.
Adult shirts are priced at £65 in adult men’s and women’s sizes and £45 for youth sizes, while season tickets holders can claim their 10% discount both online and at the Superstore.

Nice enough shirt, not sure about the collar and most definitely not sure about the price! £65! I’ve always been lucky as my birthday is nearly always on or near the kick-off weekend so the wife buys me the new shirt for my birthday which means I have no idea how much they cost but £65 is a lot. I had decided not to ask for the £14 back for the ladies tickets but will do now so I can give it to her to put towards my b’day present. Expensive times at AFCB.

Nice and simple. Black is very bold. Personally like a collar with those sort of stripes but works with round neck. No sponsor logo sounds good
