AFCB Two Rounds Away From Reaching Wembley

After that great performance against Manchester City where all our players gave their all, we may see some changes in our next game on Tuesday night against Leicester City. Even though it’s the Fifth Round of the FA Cup, it might be time to give our new striker a start, we need another player besides Solanke to convert chances we have missed, and he went close in the few minutes he was on the pitch against City and is a known goalscorer in Spain. The game is at Dean Court at 7.30 pm. For those who can’t go it is being shown live on BBC iPlayer on the red button. AFCB are two rounds away from reaching a semi-final place at Wembley Stadium.

Leicester City relegated last season from the Premier League, are leading the Championship by six points this season and look to go straight back up into the Premier League. Their manager is the Italian Enzo Maresca, who before taking the job at Leicester in the Summer, was an assistant manager to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

In the FA Cup Leicester City were away against Millwall in the third round and won 2-3. In the fourth round, they were home against Birmingham City and were comfortable winners by 3-0.

The Cherries have never met the Foxes in the FA Cup before.

In all competitions against Leicester City, AFCB have W 8, D 5, L 8.

AFCB Team News
Lloyd Kelly was missing against Manchester City through injury. Philip Billing has now served his three-match ban and is available for selection.

AFCB Player To Watch
With maybe some of our starting lineup against City being rested/on the bench. We may see Enes Unal get a start and see if he can convert some of the chances we get. Those that we have missed in recent games have cost us points, including against Manchester City where we deserved at least a point.

Leicester City Team News
On their injury list are Will Alves and Wilfred Ndidi. Jamie Vardy also missed the game at Leeds through an injury picked up in training, so must be a doubt for Tuesday night.

Leicester City Player To Watch
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is joint-leading scorer with 10 goals, leads with 12 assists. Remember first seeing him when he was on loan at Luton Town from Leicester City and he had good game against us at Kenilworth Road. He also scored the only goal for the Hatters in the game at Dean Court. Been an important player for City this season.
Stephy Mavididi and Jamie Vardy are the others players with 10 goals. They have a 19-year-old strong all-round midfield player in Abdul Fatawu, he has scored 3 goals and has 9 assists. Then there is Patson Daka who we tried to sign in the Summer, he has scored 7 goals, three and an assist in his last four games.

The Referee
Paul Tierney is in charge. He was our referee for the league game against Gary O’Neil’s Wolves team in October that saw Lewis Cook get sent off.

Really hope Unal gets a start here, looks really promising in his brief minutes so far. Maybe start him up top with Solanke just behind? – To join the conversation, click here.
