Bond on Pitman & Vokes

AFC Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond has conceded that we are light up front, but that gives a golden chance to 19 year old Pitman and 17 year old Vokes.

Vokes and Pitman have previously had chances in the first team, but not on the regular basis that will be expected this season.

‘The two young boys are relishing the challenge. It’s quite hard for them. But there’s also an opportunity there for them that they might otherwise not have. So we’re urging them to make the most of it while they can.’
