AFC Bournemouth’s final home game of the season has been moved for television coverage.

The game which had previously been scheduled for Saturday 4th May will now be played Monday 6th May, with an 8 pm kick off.

Forgotten in recent months by both Sky Sports and BT Sport, the Cherries are now currently set to feature on Sky Sports Monday Night Football when they face Tottenham Hotspur.

The attention, obviously, will be on Tottenham who are in a battle to finish in the top four and qualify for next seasons UEFA Champions League.

Ironically however the very same competition could see the game moved for a second time. If Tottenham progress in Europe’s elite club competition (they face a two-legged quarter-final with Manchester City), then they will qualify for the final four and will require their trip to Dean Court to be moved again.

So 4 weeks to go the match has definitely been moved to a date to be confirmed no earlier than 2 weeks to go and it will be somewhere over a bank holiday weekend from Friday through to Monday.
