AFC Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall is looking forward to the clash of last seasons two automatic promoted sides from League One.

Doncaster Rovers pipped the Cherries to the third tier title on the final day of the season with a dramatic victory over Brentford.

The Cherries were promoted as League One runners-up, but have proved thus far to be the most successful of the promoted sides in the Championship.

AFC Bournemouth have beaten both Doncaster and play-off winners Yeovil already this season and currently sit 17th in the Championship table, six points clear of Doncaster and eleven points clear of Yeovil.

Tindall told afcb.co.uk

“It will be a really big game, Both teams had a really good season last year and unfortunately for us Doncaster just pipped us to the title.

“But it will be a big game this time round because the Championship is where everyone wants to be and play…’

“…Doncaster will come and give us a really good fight, as you would expect from one of Paul Dickov`s teams, so we have to be ready for that.

“If we can replicate our performances of late and convert our chances, then hopefully we can win the game.”
