Liverpool man all set for move

Wilson is all set to have his medical on the south coast and complete a move to the Cherries, however, rather than a permanent transfer which had been reported last week the deal is now all set to be a season-long loan deal.
The reason for the switch from a permanent deal to a loan move is, according to the Evening Standard, because “reported interest from the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa failed to turn into concrete bids.”
Liverpool had been holding out for a fee of around £25million, but once that evaluation was not met, Liverpool opted for a loan move instead.
The same report claims that AFC Bournemouth will be under no obligation to turn the move into a permanent transfer as there is “no option to buy included in the agreement” the report also stated that the deal would “feature assurances over playing time for Wilson”.
According to Sky Sports, Wilson is currently en route to the south coast to complete his medical. They too have also reported that the deal “does not come with an option or obligation to buy at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.”
The 22-year-old Wales international scored 16 goals and 4 assists for Derby County in the Championship last season, as he played a key role in Frank Lampard’s side reaching the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
He also scored 7 goals and 3 assists during a previous loan spell at Hull City.
