Howe delighted!

AFC Bournemouth Defender Eddie Howe is delighted that James Hayter has decided to stay with the Cherries.

Eddie Howe also graduated from the youth ranks at Dean Court and he always knew how loyal Hayter was to Bournemouth.

Speaking to the Daily Echo Eddie Howe said…

‘It is a pivotal time in his career but I always knew how he felt about Bournemouth.

‘He’s had such a good season that a few other clubs have been looking at him, but he has shown tremendous loyalty and is determined to a be a success here – and we’re all delighted that he’s decided to stay.’

‘…When clubs were coming in from him left, right and centre in January, I thought he’d leave.

‘But he never let any of the speculation affect him. He’s such a level-headed lad, he never changes.

‘His primary concern is his career – not the money issue. He wants to be successful as much as anyone else does and he thinks his best chance of doing that is by staying here.

‘He’s made his decision now and I’m sure it will prove to be the right one both for him and the club.’
