AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is determined to use the negativity surrounding the Cherries recent form as a motivator.

AFC Bournemouth lost their second consecutive game at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night. It was the first time since August that the Cherries have lost back to back games in the league.

It leaves the Cherries without a win in four outings, dropping to fourth in the Championship table, four points adrift of Middlesbrough in the automatic promotion places and just one point clear of dropping out of the play-off places.

Howe told BBC Radio Solent

“We shouldn`t have lost those games, We have to go away and come back better and stronger for it.

“There`s no doubt everyone will write us off at this stage.

“From people outside the club, they will say: ‘Well, that`s Bournemouth done`.

“Criticism and negativity fires you up to prove people wrong. It`s up to us to use that for motivation for future successes…’
