Cherries Club Captain Steve Fletcher believes that every game between now and the end of the season is a must win.

This comes despite the Cherries being in touching distance of safety if they can claim a win at the Bescott tonight (Walsall Vs Cherries, 7.45pm).

The Cherries currently sit in 18th place, 3 points above the drop zone. But with so many teams in the thick of things any total above 50 points should be safe. A win tonight puts AFC Bournemouth on 51 points and with a superior goal difference on most teams acting like an additional point, upthecherries.co.uk believes that the Cherries could be safe come 10pm tonight.

Big Fletch doesn’t want to take anychances though and speaking to the Daily Echo Big Fletch said…

‘From the players’ point of view, every game is a must-win. I know people have been saying this is a six-pointer because Walsall are in a similar predicament to us, but the games against Huddersfield, Port Vale and Colchester are just as important.

‘It is vitally important but no more so than any other game as far as we’re concerned because we want to win them all.’

Do you think that 50+ points will be enough to avoid a relegation battle? Or do you believe the Cherries will have to continue to pick up points till May?
