With the Cherries finally securing their first 3 points on their travels, fans are still preparing themselves for a relegation dogfight.
A recent forum thread (posted by Tieger) has discussed the number of points required to stay up this season. It is thought (by supporters) that 55 points is the safety mark.
To achieve this target, the cherries will need 24 points from their remaining 16 games. Thats an average of 1.5 points per remaining game. Our recent form (last 5 games) is 1.8 points per game.
If Bournemouth can keep up their current form they will avoid the drop with 59 points.
