In the light of the Chairmans recent statements over the Golden Share issue The CM will be meeting shortly to discuss our response to these comments.
The CM would never stand in the way of any investment that would secure the long term future of the club as long as such investment was proved to be in the clubs best interests. Through our appointed directors on the board we have expressed our concerns over these comments and are awaiting a reply.
We are also disappointed that Peter Phillips has chosen to air this issue in the media without having the courtesy to speak to the CM’s appointed directors.
