AFC Bournemouth return to Dean Court on the back of consecutive defeats away from home.

Defeats to both Brentford and Nottingham Forest have left the Cherries in fourth place in the Championship table and are four games without a victory.

Blackburn make the visit to the south coast in tenth place and without a win in their last 9 games away from home, a run that dates back to October.

They have also won just three times since November, with all of their victories coming at home.

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

Harry Arter returns from suspension and is likely to return in midfield to replace Shaun MacDonald.

Charlie Daniels and Marc Pugh were dropped from the starting eleven against Nottingham Forest, but could also return at the expense of Adam Smith and Ryan Fraser.

Yann Kermorgant didn’t feature against Nottingham Forest due to a family bereavement. It is not clear if he is available for selection.

Tokelo Rantie is an option after returning from a shoulder injury.

Player to watch: Harry Arter

After missing the last two games through suspension, the Cherries have missed the midfielder’s drive in centre of the park.

Blackburn Rovers Team News:

Joshua King was withdrawn after just seven minutes in midweek due to a hamstring injury and is unlikely to be involved on Saturday.

Tommy Spurr returns following an illness.

Player to watch: Rudy Gestede

28 year old striker Rudy Gestede is Blackburn Rovers top goalscorer this season with 15 goals in 32 appearances this season.

Match Facts & Stats

AFC Bournemouth hold a league record at Dean Court of 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats against Blackburn Rovers.

Overall the Cherries have won 4, drawn 5 and lost 12.

Back in August Blackburn Rovers beat AFC Bournemouth 3-2 at Ewood Park with the Cherries three goals down inside 25 minutes.

A late rally in the final 10 minutes was not enough to steal a point.
