AFC Bournemouth have announced several pre-season friendly fixtures ahead of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign, including Spanish La Liga side Valencia and League Two champions Portsmouth.

The trip to Fratton Park will take place on Saturday 22nd July.

It will be the second year in succession that Valencia have visited Dean Court, with the match taking place on Sunday 30th July.

Just 24 hours before that game, AFC Bournemouth will travel to Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers to take part in Stan Bowles’ benefit match.

According to qpr.co.uk

QPR`s net proceeds from all ticket sales will go towards a newly-launched ex-players` foundation, of which Stan will be the first recipient.

The foundation, which will officially launch ahead of the pre-season fixture, is a charitable organisation that raises funds through public awareness and special events.

The monies raised by the foundation will go towards the medical assistance, physical and pastoral care, and other requirements of Stan (who has Alzheimer’s), and over time other former QPR personnel, including managers, players and staff.

The fourth game of the schedule is a trip to League Two side Yeovil Town on Wednesday 2nd August.
