Ahead of AFC Bournemouth’s trip to Aston Villa on Sunday for the FA Cup fourth round tie, we spoke to Vital Villa about what to expect.

With a special thanks to DeanoVilla from Vital Villa who took the time to answer our questions.

Any tips on getting to and from the ground?

Personally I usually park on Victoria Road and walk down Bevington Road (10-15 minute walk). I’m sure there are places closer but I’ve been doing this all my life as my Dad also used to do it. Although its a bit of a walk it does mean you miss most of the traffic congestion after the game. Plus it’s just free on road parking. If you want secure parking I believe the Aston Villa Leisure centre have that closer to the ground for a price.

Where are the best places for a pre-match drink for away supporters?

Cap and Gown (now called the Witton Arms) always used to have half the pub open for away fans…. not sure if it still does as not been there for years I’m afraid. This is located right next to Witton Station, so if you park where I suggested it’s the opposite side of the ground by the North Stand.

Clubpaver added: The Yew Tree, which is just up the road from the Witton Arms (under the bridge and about 500 m up the road).
You get both sets of fans in there. I`ve never seen any bother in there.

For any AFC Bournemouth supporters who haven’t been before, what is your ground like for away fans?

The Doug Ellis is nice enough (apart from the name of it). The North Stand however is the oldest part of the ground and in need of renovation.

Clubpaver added: I (usually) sit in the North Stand and it`s a good view of the game.

For any Cherries supporters staying in the local area for a couple of days what’s the one thing you would recommend to do?

Shopping in the Bullring, Eating/drinking in the Mailbox, visit the ThinkTank if you’re into that kind of stuff.

For many Premier League clubs just staying in the top flight is the priority, do you expect many changes to your regular starting eleven?

Lambert has gone strong so far in all the cup games… not that it’s done much good as we’re awful. 🙁 I expect maybe 1 or 2 changes in midfield/attack, most likely new signing Carles Gil and young prodigy Jack Grealish to be given a chance to impress.

Who is your player to watch?

Gil and Grealish if they start as they both have a ‘spark’ and can hopefully add some much needed creativity. Obviously Benteke can destroy the very best on his day too.

What are your predictions for this game and the remainder of the season?

I think we’ll win this one 2-1. We struggled against Blackpool who came and parked the bus but I actually think your guys will come and have a go which hopefully will play into our hands a bit.

Rest of the season… I think we’ll survive by the skin of our teeth and your guys will make the play-offs. Not predicting those as its a lottery by that point, but good luck to you.
