Carling Cup Draw

The first round of the Carling Cup is drawn tomorrow and upthecherries.co.uk will be bringing you the news as soon as we have it.

In the first round the draw is split into two. A northern section and a southern section. There is also a seeding in place with non seeds taking on seeded sides.

This season due to our bottom half finish, the Cherries are not seeded. Which means AFC Bournemouth could face Birmingham City or West Bromwich Albion who last season were Premiership sides.

Other seeded teams include local rivals Southampton and Brighton.
