AFC Bournemouth have released their new squad numbers for the Championship 2020/21 campaign which kicks off this weekend.
There are some surprising inclusions in the list, including Asmir Begovic, Joshua King and Harry Arter who were thought to not be in the thoughts of Cherries manager Jason Tindall for the upcoming season.
Begovic has taken the number one shirt, whilst Harry Arter has taken number 18. Joshua King has lost his number 7 shirt to David Brooks, whilst his old number 17 shirt remains the possession of Jack Stacey, so has taken the now vacant 27.
Lloyd Kelly has replaced Nathan Ake as the Cherries number 5, whilst Chris Mepham has replaced Andrew Surman at number 6.
Danjuma has taken the number 10 shirt, which could be an indicator to a bigger playmaker role for the Dutchman.
Nnamdi Ofoborh who won promotion from League One whilst on loan with Wycombe Wanderers has taken the number 24, with fellow youngsters Gavin Kilkenny and Kyle Taylor being handed the 26 and 28 shirts respectively.
