The Cherries were punished by a lack of concentration to gift Huddersfield the sole goal of the game late on in the first half.

Bournemouth huffed and puffed but was unable to create anything good enough to get them back in the match, despite attractive performances by substitutes Vokes and Gradel.

Again Cherries didn`t look bad; they kept a good shape, had plenty of possession and defended for ninety percent of the time resolutely, however no final bite is highlighting a lack of options up-front.

Bournemouth: Begovic, Cummings, Gowling, Garry, Pearce, O’Connor (Max Gradel 57), Anderton, Telfer, Christophe (Cooper 70), Kuffour, Pitman (Vokes 46).
Subs Not Used: Moss, Young.

Huddersfield: Glennon, Holdsworth, Skarz, Hardy, Nathan Clarke, Kamara, Worthington, Collins, Young, Brandon, Beckett (Booth 90).
Subs Not Used: Eastwood, Tom Clarke, Racchi, Berrett.

Goals: Beckett 43.
