It`s easy to meet and communicate with supporters when things are going well. It`s less easy when times are difficult. I`m certainly pleased to see that the club have reacted positively to things by agreeing to meet and listen to supporters and to put across the club perspective.

In addition to the two events mentioned in the Walsall programme (see below for a reminder), AFCB Supporters Trust now have a third event lined up. We appreciate it`s at short notice, but we think you`ll agree that it was better to get this arranged sooner rather than later.

AFC Bournemouth Manager Kevin Bond and Chief Executive Laurence Jones have agreed to hold an Open Forum tomorrow night in the Cherry Tree, starting at 7pm. The meeting is open to all fans.

Clearly the start to this season has not been as good as we would have all envisaged. We`re all supporters and we all feel the frustration of seeing the team struggling. I am certain that the management and playing staff at the club share our frustrations.

This forum is yet another opportunity to turn up and seek answers on team issues that may have been concerning you.

The challenge for the Supporters Trust is also about how we respond. We have known for years that finances have been stretched. We have heard that investors have not materialised as promised. So, what do we do? The options are that we continue with fundraising at a fairly local level, or that we look once again at a major fundraising campaign which allows the Trust to grow its ownership presence within the club.

I am fully aware that previous attempts have failed, and that there may simply not be the appetite to undertake such a campaign. That`s why the Supporters Trust would like to hear your thoughts. You can contact us via email to afcbcm@afcb.co.uk, or you can use good old fashioned ink and quill and send your thoughts to:

Reminder of forthcoming events:

Saturday 24th November – An AFC Bournemouth Supporters Trust Open Forum will be held before the Oldham game, between 1pm & 2pm in “Inn Off The Bar”. The AFCB Supporters Trust committee will also be joined by Board members Jeff Mostyn, Steve Sly and Chief Executive Laurence Jones. This is a real chance for the many fans who can only ever get to Dean Court on a match day, to ask questions of the your Trust and the main Board.

November 29th – Your Supporters Trust will be hosting a Meet the Players Evening, and it is hoped that ALL of the squad will be present to meet you. The venue is the Inn Off The Bar, with doors open at 7.15pm. The evening starts at 7.45pm, and a hot meal will be served (with a choice of menu). After the meal, a Quiz will be held, and the Players will move around the tables joining different teams each round.

Tickets may be obtained from the Ticket Office, and cost £10 each. Paid up Supporters Trust members will receive a discount (refunded at the door)

The number of tickets is limited, so buy yours today. You MUST specify your meal choice when you buy your ticket, either Steak Pie, Battered Cod or Chicken, all served with Vegetables. A vegetarian meal is also offered

If you went to, and enjoyed, the Playershare Raffle Supper Quiz, we are sure you will have an equally good time.

Come along and show your support for the Club.
