AFC Bournemouth loanee Jack Wilshere is set to be offered a new contract by parent club Arsenal.

Wilshere made the move to the south coast on transfer deadline day after requesting a temporary move from Arsenal in search of regular first team football.

Wilshere reportedly had offers from Italian clubs Roma and AC Milan, as well as Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, but opted to make the move to Dean Court following a meeting with AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe.

Wilshere has made 17 appearances for the Cherries this season and his form has seen him break back into the England fold.

The Sun have reported that Wilshere ‘will be offered fresh terms this month despite doubts over his future at the club’.

The reported added…

‘Bournemouth have been delighted with him on loan this season but know they have no chance of landing him permanently…’

‘…he is expected to extend his Gunners deal before fighting for his first-team place next season.’

Wilshere will be unavailable for AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night for the game against Arsenal live on Sky Sports, as loan players are not allowed to play against their parent clubs.

although Jack might be absolutely loving life in Sandbanks and enjoying 90 minutes week in week out, he goes through patches during our games where he looks so p****d off with his team mates, he can’t believe he’s on the same team as such baffoons.Join the conversation here.
