Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere is enjoying working with AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe.

The 24 year old joined AFC Bournemouth on transfer deadline day, opting for a move to the south coast to work with Eddie Howe ahead of opportunities to join Crystal Palace or move to Italy with both Roma and AC Milan interested.

The season long loan signing of Wilshere was one of the biggest coups in the Cherries history, but Wilshere firmly believes he made the right decision in obtaining a seasons experience of working under Howe.

Wilshere told the Daily Echo

‘I`m working on improving certain aspects of my game, My injuries have been impact injuries, tackles. That`s part and parcel of football. I`m just trying to be smarter. Maybe sometimes give the ball earlier, not overrun it. And in training work on certain things…’

‘…(Howe’s) been great for me, As soon as I spoke to him when I was looking for a club I knew I wanted to work with him.

‘He`s a proper coach. He`s on the training pitch. He said to me before I came here there`s certain aspects of my game he thinks he can improve and we`re working on it all the time.’

‘Does Wilshere win a teddy bear?

3 times from 3 shots over the past two games he’s hit the woodwork.

Really should have scored the last of those.
