Well happy with that.

Some thoughts. Smart teams have watched the Jaidon Anthony and Jordan Zemura partnership so are going 3 on two by moving a man out from midfield but that leaves Philip Billing with more space. Anthony now passing more infield rather than going for the overlap outside

Moving the team to counter the JZ/JA axis leaves room on the other side for Ryan Christie to make hay and he does so.

Lloyd Kelly looking so much more assured next to Gary Cahill, as is Ryan Travers in goal.

Killiesta (Gavin Kilkenny) looks at home, not quite as effective today but didn’t think we ‘needed’ to call on Ben Pearson.

We are constantly saying that teams don’t look much good when it must now be that we are stifling them and making good teams look ordinary.

West Bromwich Albion also with a good win leaves me with a feeling of two heavyweights slugging it out in the ring. Who will crack I wonder?

Meanwhile shiny new turnstile not working and no electricity at the food van shows that we are still able to retain our tinpot tag.

What a team we’re lucky enough to watch, I know there’s a long way to go but every week the overall performance improves. The team’s becoming a juggernaut with a Rolls Royce engine, it’s reminiscent of Eddie Howe’s promotion team but it’s started earlier this season : )

Corners, it’s as if giving the opposition a corner has become a form of “game management” in the closing stages. I know we’ll concede from one sooner or later but each match we seem more secure defending them. One thing I’ve noticed is the synchronised bouncing by our players from oppo’ corners, which reminds me of a New Order music video : )

Although the past 3 oppositions haven’t looked great, it’s worth remembering Stoke and Huddersfield were top 6 before we played them and I think Bristol City were in good form as well. In a week, 9 points, 6 goals, none conceded, what a harvest : )

What an impact Cahill and Christie have had since they came into the side : )

Ps well done the club and Huddersfield for the David Brooks stay strong messages, as well as all the fans for joining in and repeating during the match : )
