AFC Bournemouth has appointed Mikhail Ponomarev and Alexey Panferov to the board of directors at the Goldsands Stadium.
Bournemouth businessman Adam Murry also re-joins the Cherries board after two years away.
Ponomarev and Panferov have a long association with AFC Bournemouth and become the first Russian representatives on the board.
38-year-old Ponomarev, is the founder of Energy Consulting Group Russia and was previously head of corporate governance for Tatneft.
Ponomarev is close associates with AFC Bournemouth co-owner Maxim Demin and is heavily involved in football sponsorship in Russia and Europe.
As a company, Energy Consulting has owned and sponsored Torpedo Moscow and has also been instrumental to the remarkable rise of Fortuna Dusseldorf to the German Bundesliga.
42-year-old Panferov is founder and managing partner at NewRussiaGrowth Private Equity, and was previously head of investment banking and member of the board at MDM Bank.
The Russia and Italy based businessman has been a CSKA Moscow fan since a young age and has been a Cherries follower since Maxim Demin became the club’s joint-owner.

Adam Murry has a long-standing association with the Cherries, and was part of the consortium alongside Eddie Mitchell which took over the club in the summer of 2009.
Chairman Mitchell has been impressed by Murry`s dedication to his charity work, both within the club and outside.
“Adam is a great asset to the club and I`m looking forward to having him on the board again,” Mitchell said.
“He is a fantastic ambassador and I`m a great admirer of the time and effort he has invested in helping local charities.”
Murry was delighted to be offered the chance to once again become a director and expressed his excitement regarding the club`s future.
“This club means a great deal to me and I would like to thank Eddie for this opportunity,” he said.
“I`m pleased to return to the board at a time where the club is on a sound financial footing and looking forward to a bright future.
“The board have done a fantastic job in moving this club forward over the past three years, and I hope to contribute towards its future progress.”
