AFC Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall has backed development squad striker Jayden Stockley to do well with League Two side Luton Town.
Stockley has joined Luton on a one month loan deal and could make his debut against Shrewsbury at Kenilworth Road on Thursday.
Stockley had been training with the Cherries after his loan spell with Cambridge United was cut short following a lack of first team opportunities.
The 21 year old scored two goals in three League Two appearances.
Tindall told the Daily Echo…
“For whatever reason, Jayden`s loan spell at Cambridge wasn`t what he or we had hoped for. But since he has been back, he has trained excellently and has performed really well in the development squad games.
“We feel this will be a really good loan move for him. John Still (Luton manager) has a really good track record with players, especially strikers.
“Hopefully, Jayden will go to Luton and play a lot more than he did in his most recent loan move. If he can get the minutes, we are confident he will score goals and do well.”
