AFC Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall was delighted with the news that Cherries midfielder Harry Arter had agreed terms on a new three and a half year contract.
The 25 year old has been in excellent form in recent weeks and has played a key role in the Cherries rise from the lower leagues to the top of the Championship.
Arter joined the Cherries from Conference South side Woking for just £4,000 in June 2010.
He had spent a year in non league following his release from Charlton, before joining the Cherries just after the sides promotion from League Two.
Tindall told afcb.co.uk…
“Harry has come a long way since he has been here, The influence he has on the team is there for everyone to see, so we are delighted as a club to tie Harry down for another three and a half years.
“From having seen him play at Woking not that many years ago, we`ve seen him rise with the club.
“It`s special to have those players who have been there since the League Two days through to the success we are having now.
“He`s improved a lot as a player, works extremely hard and hopefully there`s a lot more to come from him.”
