We visit Rotherham in the third round of the Cup that at one time was the one all teams dreamt about winning, from teams from the Non League through to the teams in the Premiership it is the one competition in this Country that they have a chance of competing against each other.

The FA Cup seems to have lost some of its ‘magic’ to some of the Premiership clubs who have bigger prizes to chase.

Our own club have been giant killers in this tournament with the scalps of Wolves and Spurs in the 1956-57 run and then with the 2-0 home victory over Ron Atkinson’s Manchester United in the 3rd round in January 1984 with goals from Milton Graham and Ian Thompson in front of a crowd of 15,000.

Rotherham have in the past reached the 5th round of the FA Cup.

We have never met before in the FA Cup.

Rotherham United Team News:

Tom Lawrence who was on loan has returned to Leicester City.

Player to watch: Johnson Clarke-Harris

If he plays Johnson Clarke-Harris, according to their fans he is very fast.

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

As Eddie Howe usually keeps his options close to his chest, it is hard to say what side he will play.

But probably he will make a minimum of 1 or 2 changes to give players a rest and others a run out.

In the League Cup of course he made as many as ten.

Player to watch: Matt Ritchie

If he plays Matt Ritchie, in great form and finding the net.
