Russell Perrett is set to miss our trip to Millwall at the weekend with the calf problem he picked up in Tuesday’s reserve outing. The cramp he sustained is yet to clear sufficiently and the injury will be looked at in more detail prior to next week’s training.
There is better news regarding fellow central defender Josh Gowling. Josh came through training this morning and is expected to be involved in Saturday’s squad.
In the striking department, Jo Kuffour trained for the first time since recovering from a virus. Kuffour bravely played through it last Sunday against Swansea although having missed most of the week, may not be risked against Millwall.
Sam Vokes returned to the south coast at 3am from his International outing last night and still managed to attend training. His participation was limited although he should be back to full speed for the weekend.
Cherries new loan signing Jem Karacan is set to be included in the squad and could make his professional debut.
Cherries are still without the services of Neil Young (knee), Ryan Garry (shin), Steve Foley (back), Marvin Bartley (groin), Jean Christophe (wrist), Brett Pitman (foot) and Warren Cummings (arm).
