Cherries Manager Kevin Bond welcomes back Shaun Cooper ahead of Saturday’s home League One clash against Cheltenham Town. Coops served a one match suspension against Southend and returns for this weekend’s match.

It’s a case of one in one out for the Cherries though as Danny Hollands is out through suspension having accumulated five bookings this season.

He was pulled out of the Doncaster match at late notice and although he made the Southend game, Hollands would have missed Saturday anyway with a thigh strain.

Warren Cummings is also battling to be fit with an ongoing shin problem that he’s been determined to play and perform through. Russ Perrett’s situation is improving, but he won’t feature on Saturday. Perrett was admitted to hospital last week complaining of breathing difficulties.

Bournemouth Manager Bond told the press…

‘Warren’s leg is slowly settling down so we’re hopeful he’ll be available. It looked really fierce on Saturday and he’s been on antibiotics, but he did get through the game.

‘Coops is a good footballer and we missed that extra bit of quality on the ball that he brings to the side and we’re glad to have him as we’re without Danny.’
