Surman wants Saints return

Drew Surman joined AFC Bournemouth on loan at the beginning of the season and has put in a few memorable appearances.

But the on loan star is now hoping for a return to Southampton to force his way into the first team.

Speaking to the Southampton Echo, Drew said ‘I hope to come back to Saints in January and, fingers crossed, I’ll be put in the first team squad.’

‘The team [Southampton] have been doing ok so far but I’m sure they’d like to have won a few more games. We’ve been unlucky with some of the results, but we’ll turn it around.’
