AFC Bournemouth ended the 2017/18 Premier League campaign with yet another comeback.

As is common under Eddie Howe, the Cherries made a couple of surprise alterations to the starting XI.

In came Tyrone Mings to start on the left-hand side of a back three. In midfield, in the absence of Lewis Cook, who was apparently rested ahead of a potential England call-up, it was neither Dan Gosling or Harry Arter who got the call to partner Andrew Surman, instead it was Emerson Schellas Hyndman for his first Premier League appearance since his move from Fulham and only his third appearance of the season.

Six minutes before the interval and Burnley took the lead, Ashley Westwood’s volley deflecting past Asmir Begovic off of Chris Wood.

Around the hour mark, Howe altered his attack. On came Jermain Defoe and Callum Wilson to back up Joshua King and Jordon Ibe.

15 minutes later and King scored an equaliser, his 30th top-flight goal for the Cherries, before Wilson, in stoppage time bagged the winner.

Those three points overall made it 21 points earned from losing positions this season, more than any other Premier League side this season.

Your say…

I would love to know how we managed to take so many points from losing positions playing so badly haha. Is that 21 points from losing positions? Nearly half our total! Mental.
