AFC Bournemouth winger Junior Stanislas was pleased with the Cherries impressive victory over Hull City.

Stanislas scored twice and hit the woodwork during a game which ended 6-1 for the home side.

It was the first time the Cherries had hit six goals in a single Premier League game and the highest margin of victory the club have ever recorded in the top flight of English football.

The result also meant that the Cherries have now won three consecutive home games in the Premier League, a run of form which has also never been achieved before.

After the game Stanislas told afcb.co.uk

‘It’s a great feeling, We’ve worked hard over these past two weeks and the international break, so for everything to come together is fantastic for everyone.

‘Our approach was very much the same as usual today, really. We like to work hard and press high up the pitch at home, which we did and I think we get our rewards for today.

‘Our form at home wasn’t the best last year, and that’s something we’ve been keen to put right this season. Hopefully we can continue with that now.’

‘he’s looking even better than his purple patch before he got injured last year. He brings genuine goal threat to the side, which has been our weakness at times. Stan on this form makes our squad look incredibly strong as he’s almost like a bonus player that most of us wouldn’t have named in our first eleven prior to the season – don’t think many would leave him out now though.

I think Ibe is similar in that he might not always get it right but he looks to have enough to be a real match winner. This cutting edge is what we lacked at times last year and Eddie is slowly turning us into a ruthless attacking force.
