AFC Bournemouth director Steve Sly has thanked the travelling 1,647 Cherries supporters at Burton and believes the supporters are the ones who have made the difference.

Sly also believes that Eddie Howe’s class of 2010 has surpassed Sean O’Driscoll’s class of 2003 after securing automatic promotion with two games to spare.

‘…They mean so much to the board and so much to Eddie Howe and the players. They make the difference…’

Jeff (Mostyn) and I have battled on through thick and thin and although we haven’t always been everyone’s cup of tea, I’m not going anywhere and neither is Jeff. We’re here for the long haul and this club is on the up…’
