Cherries striker, Tokelo Rantie, believes he is ready to demonstrate his talent for the club following an indifferent first season in England.

The South African international is currently on duty with his national side, assisting a goal in 1-1 draw with Australia on Monday ahead of a game versus New Zealand tomorrow.

AFCB’s record transfer is under no illusions that he can perform better more regularly, but as he told afcb.co.uk, he thinks he is in the right place to achieve this:

‘If you are willing to do your best, this is the place to come and I was very glad to be given the opportunity to be here. There is so much to learn. I`m in an environment where everyone is willing to help you so as much as it didn’t start well for me, I`m very glad for the lads and for the team and I`m looking forward to next season.’

After scoring some memorable goals, Cherries fans have seen glimpses on the ability Rantie possesses, and he is now confident that next season will be the time he gets to deliver it on a constant basis:

‘I know exactly what is required of me so I`m looking forward to the next season and I think it is going to be good for me personally as a player. I just hope that I`ll manage to help the team as much as possible.’
