AFC Bournemouth striker Joe Quigley is looking forward to getting his season back under way at League One side Gillingham.
Quigley, alongside Harry Cornick will see out the remainder of the season with Gillingham after completing half season loan deals during the January transfer window.
Quigley suffered an ACL injury after just three appearances for Gillingham earlier in the season, but the 20 year old this week returned to action with the AFC Bournemouth development squad against Cheltenham Town.
Speaking to afcb.co.uk, after that match he said…
‘…My knee’s not on my mind at all so it’s full steam ahead now. For me it’s not difficult, it was something that happened and there’s nothing I can do about it…’
‘…It’s very nice to know that I was wanted and credit to Gillingham for taking me (despite the injury), Hopefully I can do as well as I can there and contribute to the team.
‘I’ll be cracking on with Gillingham and trying to get them as far up the table as possible, I’ll be trying to grab as many goals as I can while I’m at it…’

With the AFCB connections in their (Gillingham’s) management/coaching set-up I expect that may be a well trodden path over the foreseeable future. – Join the conversation here.
