AFC Bournemouth winger Marc Pugh is looking forward to bouncing back following successive defeats to Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Over their past three games, AFC Bournemouth have played the top three sides in the Premier League, losing to both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur following a point away to Liverpool.
The Cherries next two games come against the two bottom sides in the Premier League, with 19th place Middlesbrough visiting Dean Court on Saturday and a trip to Sunderland the following week.
Middlesbrough are without a win in their last 15 games, whilst Sunderland are without a win in their last 8 fixtures.
Pugh told afcb.co.uk…
‘…we`ve got Middlesbrough at home, that`s a massive game and three points would boost our season.
“We`ve proven over the last five or six years that we can bounce back. We`ll work on what we did wrong and then try to rectify that to put in a solid free-flowing performance.
“You have to approach every game like it`s your last, I love playing football as do my team-mates and we want to do everything in our power to win games for this football club.
“We want to be playing in the Premier League next season so we need to turn up and be the better team against Middlesbrough.”
Mathematically after Stoke, but I reckon if after Boro on Saturday we have stretched ourselves out to 8 or 10 points clear… then we’ll be ok… – Join the conversation here.
