With just twelve months remaining on his contract at AFC Bournemouth, Ryan Fraser has been reportedly gaining a lot of interest from all of the top six.

Can’t see 3 to 4 Premier League clubs being interested at that sort of price. Of the top ten:

Manchester City & Liverpool don’t need him and are fishing in bigger pools

Chelsea have a transfer embargo which they don’t look as if they want to appeal.

Spurs are more likely to be desperately trying to hang onto their existing players than signing new ones.

Arsenal perhaps, but their total transfer kitty for next season, if they don’t qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League, has been credibly reported as £40 million. They aren’t going to spend three-quarters of that on Ryan Fraser. If they do get into the Champions League then they are more likely to go back in for Yannick Carrasco who they tried to sign in January.

Man Utd aren’t going to sign Dan James and Ryan Fraser.

Wolves’ agent owners don’t stand to make any money out of signing Ryan Fraser.

Everton have said they need to sell some of their highly paid dross before they can buy. That looks quite a big ask.

Leicester already have good attacking and creative players including a certain Demarai Gray and West Ham, of course, have Anderson.

So of the top ten that is one maybe.

Your say…

Fraser has the 2nd highest assists in the Premier League. In the whole of Europe, only Messi has created more “big chances” in Europe.

He is one of the fastest players in the Premier League and probably the best delivery from set pieces and from his weaker foot. Players like Fraser are exactly the sort of a Big 6 club would be interested in. Especially if you have strikers like Lacazette and Aubamayang who are basically upgraded versions of Wilson and King.

Now we might not get £30m, but it’s important to recognise we have genuine International class talent now rather than League One player punching above our weight. – Join the conversation, click here.
