AFC Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O’Kane praised the squad for finishing March as the Championships in form side.
The Cherries went into March without a victory in four outings and 17th in the Championship table.
Eight games on and Eddie Howe’s side have 19 points from 8 games, only losing once, scoring 16 goals and conceding 4.
That run of form has seen the Cherries climb the table from 17th to 10th, extending the 9 point gap over the sides in the relegation zone to 20 points and closing the gap between AFC Bournemouth and the play-off places from 14 points to 5.
With seven games of the season remaining, the Cherries now boast an outside chance of reaching the play-offs and go into the games with Queens Park Rangers and Reading in form.
O’Kane told afcb.co.uk…
‘It’s been a hell of a month for the club, Everyone deserves a lot of credit because to have eight games in the space of four weeks and only lose one is a really good achievement.
‘I don’t think anyone will be looking forward to playing us at the moment.
‘We have improved massively since Christmas and if we can keep on putting wins together, then there’s no boundaries to what we can do.
‘We have put ourselves in a good position, but we aren’t content with that. We want to win every game we go into.’
