Chairman Jeff Mostyn staes that he is ‘optimistic’ that new deals will be agreed with Cherries’ out-of-contract defensive trio this week.
Neil Young, Warren Cummings and Stephen Purches have spent the past fortnight considering their options after being offered new deals at the club and Mostyn has revealed that positive talks have been held with all 3 players, with talks to continue later this week.
Mostyn told the Daily Echo: ‘We will do everything that we possibly can to persuadeall three of them that they should remain with AFC Bournemouth. While positive negotiations are taking place between the parties, I remain optimistic that all three will sign.’
